Installation of fire protection systems

At Killfire, we specialize in the installation of fire protection systems designed for buildings with various safety needs. We work based on our own designs (as well as those provided by clients), which may include:

  • installation of sprinkler systems,

  • installation of foam extinguishing systems,

  • installation of deluge or water spray systems,

  • installation of hydrant fire protection systems,

  • construction of fire pump stations with water storage tanks.

Our team is responsible for the entire process of developing active fire protection systems, including consulting, concept design, and fire protection system projects, as well as prefabrication and transport of components, system installation on-site, commissioning and acceptance, and both warranty and post-warranty service.

Water Spray Systems

A system similar to sprinkler installations is the deluge system, an automatic fire extinguishing system. It consists of fixed open-type water discharge devices. From the open nozzles, water is directed both to the fire source and across the entire protected area beyond the ignition point.

Deluge systems are used for the rapid suppression of fire and for cooling facilities. Just like sprinklers, the extinguishing efficiency of deluge systems can be increased by adding a foaming agent to the water.

Indoor Fire Hydrants

Indoor fire hydrants are devices that allow the withdrawal of water for extinguishing Class A fires, i.e., fires involving solid materials. Hydrants are installed within the internal water supply network and enable the extinguishing of incipient fires, with the option of further extinguishing smoldering areas.

Hydrants are mandatory on every floor level of fire-risk facilities. Due to hose diameter differences, there are three main types of indoor hydrants:

  • DN 25 hydrant – used in fire risk zones for people,

  • DN 52 hydrant – used in industrial and warehouse facilities,

  • DN 33 hydrant – used in single- and multi-level garages.

Firefighting Pump Stations

One of the key fixed elements of water-based fire extinguishing systems, included in our designs and installed by our experts, are firefighting pump stations. Their task is to supply the fire protection system with water from a tank connected to the installation or directly from the water supply network.

Pump stations work in cooperation with:

  • sprinkler systems (wet and dry),

  • deluge systems,

  • foam extinguishing systems,

  • hydrant systems.

Our pump station designs are based on proven fire protection technologies, carefully thought-out and adapted to the individual needs of the facilities for which we create such protection systems.
